Went to school but eventually dropped out of school due to lack mobility her sisters would carry her to school which became tiresome.she remained dependant on her relatives after the death of her father untill her sister took ful care of her, Shamim started training in hair dressing to be able to sustain herself but when her wheel chair broke down she lost hope seeing no future.She was always sad, one could hadly see her laughing.
She saw some light when she was identified and received a wheel chair from the donation by crutches for Africa. Shamim who could not withhold a smile resumed the training promising that after she qualifies she will start her own Saloon.
